Melissa Allen has been a driving force in UF Online since the program’s inception. With more than 15 years in higher education, she is known for her transformative leadership style, commitment to operational excellence, and ability to inspire cross-functional collaboration. As director, Melissa oversees academic program management, student success, and strategic initiatives in online education. She leads cross-campus collaboration to enhance the student experience and elevate program quality. UF Online is consistently ranked among the nation's top online programs in undergraduate education, a distinction that reflects the strength of its model and university-wide commitment. Melissa holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and Psychology from the University of Miami and a master’s degree in Communication from the University of Central Florida. She blends a people-first approach with system thinking to fuel consistent success.
